  • “When Deborah Vogt and her team in Smackdown 2015 (a 24-hour musical theatre competition) picked “YVR Baggage Claim” out of a hat last year, the brainwave was immediate… Thus, Carry On: A Musical was born, in which the audience gets to examine the type of people we encounter in baggage claim areas; their physical and emotional baggage."

  • “Carry On is a new original Vancouver grown musical.  It was first conceived of at Smackdown: The 24-hour musical competition in 2015, winning the top prize which included development support to expand it to its current 90 minute one-act production.  Featuring a diverse cast of 12 local musical theatre talents, this funny energetic musical has something for every traveler.”
