BUSK is a 30-minute solo performance that follows the unraveling of a busker on the Southbank of London. He will speak directly to the audience, as he does in a real busking set, and play original songs about the world around him. It is a personal folk musical that explores how closely our identities as artists are tied to our financial success. What do we have to sacrifice in order to live? How much of ourselves are we allowed to share with an audience? Are we all buskers?
