Deborah is a freelance dramaturg with a passion for new musical theatre and female-driven comedy.
As a new play dramaturg, Deborah has worked with playwrights in Canada, the USA, and the UK. She has been a script reader for the Arts Club Theatre Company, Playwrights Realm, and Playwrights Foundation. As a production dramaturg, Deborah has worked with the Arts Club Theatre Company and the Vancouver Opera on both new and classic scripts.
She co-founded CHALK DRAMATURGY, which is a musical theatre dramaturgy company.
Deborah has a Masters degree in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths, University of London.
